The Kazinga Channel<\/strong> is a 40km natural stream of water joining Lakes Edward and George, situated within the spectacular Queen Elizabeth National Park<\/a>. It is relatively shallow with the depth averaging between 3 – 4 meters, the deepest end estimated at 8meters.<\/p>\n

The Kazinga Channel harbors a huge population of hippos and crocodiles. On a typical hot day, the banks attract a profusion of big game, that come to drink, cool off, shower & eat the fresh grass along the channel.\u00a0 Elephants, Buffaloes, Monitor Lizards, Antelopes are common, while the predators like Lions, Leopards, Hyenas do appear but briefly, mainly for a drink.<\/p>\n
