The new plastic chipped Cards are filled in with the clients Bio-Data and Tour Agents information which are inserted into a reader machine in <a title=\"Gorilla tracking Uganda.\" href=\"https:\/\/www.adventure-travellers.com\/3-days-gorillas-bunyonyi.html\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Bwindi Impenetrable forest National Park<\/strong><\/a> on the tracking day displaying all the information saved earlier on.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_62\" style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adventure-travellers.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Gorilla-Permit-card.jpg\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-62\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-62\" alt=\"A Plastic Gorilla Permit Card.\" src=\"https:\/\/www.adventure-travellers.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Gorilla-Permit-card.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.adventure-travellers.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Gorilla-Permit-card.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.adventure-travellers.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Gorilla-Permit-card-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.adventure-travellers.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Gorilla-Permit-card-400x300.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-62\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">A New plastic Gorilla Permit Card.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Under this new system,Clients or Tour Agents can no-longer buy a Gorilla Permit according to a <a title=\"Gorilla tracking Uganda.\" href=\"https:\/\/www.adventure-travellers.com\/3-days-gorillas-bunyonyi.html\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Gorilla group<\/strong><\/a>\/family but rather buy according to the Gorilla tracking sections in Bwindi.Example:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Buhoma Section.<\/li>\n<li>Ruhija Section<\/li>\n<li>Nkuringo Section<\/li>\n<li>Nshongi Section<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Under all these sections,there are more than 2,Gorilla Familys where visitors are grouped in the morning for the days adventure trekking.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Advantages of the new plastic card system<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It enables couples wanting to track together make it.<\/li>\n<li>Elderly or disabled people can choose to track a less tiresome Gorilla Family in the morning before tracking.<\/li>\n<li>Able bodied and energetic trekkers can decide in the Morning to trek and hike through the hills for long hrs before they can find the Gorillas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Disadvantages<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You need to remind your guide or wake up quite early on the tracking day to request for a Gorilla family you want.<\/li>\n<li>You need to be careful with the card not to place it near a magnet as the chip might fail to read on the tracking day thus causing a delay or even missing Gorilla tracking.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In August 2013,The Uganda Wildlife Authority started issuing Plastic Gorilla Permits to all new buyers.(Tour Operators or Individual Clients).
