Program for the 6 Days Uganda safari with gorilla trekking and rafting

Day 1 - Travel to Jinja for a full day rafting. Return to Kampala.

At around 6:30 am our drive guide picks you from your hotel or preferred pickup point, and start off the early morning drive on Jinja highway for the full day rafting activity that starts at around 8:00am.

Accommodation - Cassia lodge.

Day 2 - Travel to Lake Mburo National Park, evening boat ride and game drive.

After your early morning breakfast, our drives picks you up at 6:30 am and drive to Lake Mburo national park that is situated in the south western part of Uganda where you will spot zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, elands, topis, and many antelopes.

Later on we drive to lake to catch the boat ride that sets off at 3:00 pm. It is a 1hr boat ride with more wildlife spotting. You will many hippos, crocodiles and different bird species along the lake like the King fishers.

Accommodation - Rwakobo Rock.

Day 3 - Morning game drive and travel to Bwindi forest.

We shall wake up very early in morning, have breakfast and go for our morning game drive for the last minute sighting and as it also increases your chances of seeing more wildlife. Later on, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park for the following day gorilla tracking tour.

Day 4 - Gorilla tracking activity.

After your morning breakfast, report to the park headquarters at exactly 7:30 am for a briefing about the dos and don'ts of gorilla tracking activity. After the brief gorilla tracking guideline, we start off the search for the giant mountain gorillas as we penetrate in the Impenetrable forest under the guidance of a well-trained and knowledgeable guide.

Time taken doing gorilla tracking highly depends on how fast we shall locate a gorilla community. It can take us a few minutes or even an entire day trying to spot them. We shall then return from this thrilling but highly tiresome adventure to a relaxation.

Day 5 - Travel to Semuliki for the hot springs visit.

After our early morning breakfast, drive to the Semuliki national park. On entering the park, we start off with the nature walk activity that is say walking through the pygmy families, visiting the hot springs and walking along the Semuliki River with lots of bird species, hippos and many more.

Later on after a long day adventure, return to the lodge for relaxation.

Day 6 - Travel back to Kampala.

Have your early morning breakfast as you wait for our driver guide to transfer you back to Kampala or preferred drop-off.
